Committees
The ASUCD Senate has several permanent committees. The primary duty of each committee is to delegate the responsibilities of the ASUCD Senate into smaller components in order to efficiently handle administrative roles and tasks. Each committee is administrative and has a scope pertaining to its field of expertise. Most of the committees consist of student volunteers, members of the ASUCD Senate, Commissions chairs, and career staff.

Internal Committees
- Committee on Committees (CoC)
- The CoC conducts the advertising, application, and appointment process of undergraduates to Administrative Advisory Committees (AAC) and Academic Senate Committees (ASCs). Meetings are called, as needed, by the committee chairperson, at least once a quarter, with duties further enumerated in the ASUCD Bylaws chapter on Committees on Committees.

- The ASUCD Elections Committee conducts all ASUCD General Elections set forth in the ASUCD Constitution and all Special Elections as authorized under the ASUCD Bylaws chapter on Elections Code. The ASUCD Elections Committee carries out all ASUCD Elections in a fair and impartial manner as outlined in the ASUCD Bylaws chapter on elections code of the ASUCD Bylaws. The ASUCD Elections Committee sets all deadlines regarding the submission of election material if the deadline is not provided in the ASUCD Bylaws.

- The ASUCD Executive Advisory Council advises the ASUCD Executive Office, ASUCD Business Manager, and ASUCD Associate Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs.

- URSAC creates a forum to discuss physical Unit relocations and space allocations within ASUCD.

- The purpose of the Personnel Committee shall be to provide guidance and oversight of all personnel issues pertaining to ASUCD hourly employees and volunteers with and without stipends and to support ASUCD supervisors in developing and implementing employee staffing, performance management, recording mechanisms, and compensation systems.

External Committees
- Council on Student Affairs & Fees (COSAF)
- The Council on Student Affairs and Fees advises on matters affecting the use of facilities and programs: capital projects, implementation of programs and services of the Memorial Union, Silo, and Recreation Services. Review expenditures are allocated and spent consistent with the 1994 SSMF Referendum. COSAF has oversight of CEI and FACE Fee Referendums. The primary agency for channeling student input into decisions regarding the level and use of Student Services Fees on the Davis campus.

- The ASUCD Media Board oversees the media interests on the UC Davis campus.

- The Recruitment and Retention Organizing Committee (RROC) is the governing board of the Student Recruitment and Retention Center and exists to ensure that the goals of the SRRC are satisfied. The board consists of 10 voting members who are mostly undergraduate students.
The RROC holds that education is a vehicle for liberating individuals and creating change for communities. Guided by the principles of holistic learning, RROC will strive to create an atmosphere conducive for educational achievement, encourage the development of critical consciousness at the primary, secondary, and university levels; and serve as a vehicle to empower all people.

- The mission of the Aggie Housing Advocacy Committee is to make Davis an affordable city to have a career and fulfilling life through access to high-quality housing and robust economic opportunities. The Committee believes in an abundance agenda. A Davis that is inclusive, thriving, and environmentally sustainable, is one that has an abundance of housing, quality jobs, and economic growth for everyone.

- The ASUCD Champagne Committee manages all activities relating to the ASUCD Customer Service/Exceptional Hourly Employee Award and ASUCD Customer Service/Exceptional Hourly Employee Award Fund. Responsibilities of the committee include, but are not limited to planning and publicizing, selecting recipients, and ensuring proper distribution of ASUCD Scholarships.

Programmatic Committees
- Aggie Arts Committee
- The Aggie Arts Committee (Aggie Arts) focuses on reestablishing an artistic presence on campus and curating art that is representative of student diversity. The purpose of the Aggie Arts shall be to invest in public arts on campus for the purpose of creating an inviting and representative campus image; to be included in university decisions regarding campus aesthetics; decorate campus common spaces with artistry reminiscent of students’ diverse personal, cultural, and academic experiences.

- The Aggie Housing and Transportation Advocacy Committee (AHTAC) focuses on outreach and advocacy for University of California, Davis students; undertakes projects aimed at improving students’ access to housing and transportation resources; organizes to uplift student tenants’ voices and interests; mobilizes student voices at the university, city, county, and other local government levels, and serves as ASUCD’s representative across any coalitions and collaborations with relevant campus organizations and resource centers.

- The SAAAC brings students together to provide intersectional, trauma informed advocacy to improve campus climate, and to facilitate the expansion of access to educational resources about sexual violence, sexual harassment, and sexual assault. The committee also ensures that students are made aware of the reporting process both through the university and law enforcement, victim advocacy resources, confidential support services, information about sexual violence in UC policies as well as students’ rights under Title IX.

- The SSCF runs a sustainability career fair to introduce more sustainability based organizations to UC Davis to be held once a quarter in the academic year. This committee defines sustainability as the balance of three pillars that are economics, equity, and environmental protection. Therefore, this committee defines a sustainable company as one whose goals include either economic development or equity and must include environmental protection and environmental justice. Additionally, it shall include industries such as sustainable products, sustainable foods, and environmental nonprofits. SSCF shall primarily focus on outreach and education by providing a service to students who are searching for environmentally based careers and internships.

- The UAA Committee improves campus climate by building awareness of resources as well as issues regarding the AB 540 and undocumented community. The committee creates resources, organizes events, and bridges the gap between ASUCD and any issues regarding the AB 540 and undocumented community. The UAA Committee's primary goal is to lead on the advocacy of resources for undocumented students and their community on the UC Davis campus. These resources serve to provide students with the needed and much desired tools necessary to lead a successful academic and professional life. In order to create these projects, the UAA Committee works hard to identify successful partnerships, inspire community involvement, and demand awareness and involvement from ASUCD.
